About CollegeInvest Wyoming
CollegeInvest Wyoming is a partnership between CollegeInvest, a not-for-profit division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education, and the Wyoming State Treasurer’s Office. These two organizations have partnered to give Wyoming account owners and beneficiaries the same preferred fee structure as Colorado residents when you open a CollegeInvest account. About CollegeInvest
CollegeInvest’s mission is to address the challenges Coloradans face regarding both the affordability of and access to higher education. CollegeInvest was created by the State of Colorado in 1979 and is a division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education. As Colorado’s leading education financing resource we provide expert information, simple financial planning tools, scholarships, tax advantaged college savings plans and low-cost student and parent loans to take education dollars as far as they can go.
CollegeInvest is a self-supporting state enterprise and does not receive taxpayer funding. The Colorado Department of Higher Education has oversight and management responsibilities over the division. In addition, there is a nine-member Advisory Board of Directors appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the State Senate. (Board Meetings Schedule)
